My wife has told me that she has observed some people shopping at supermarkets using personal pocket sized barcode scanners that add up the price of each item that you scan as you are shopping. Apparently the barcode scanner allows the shopper to know the total price of the items that you have selected & scanned before they are rung up at the cash register.
Does anyone know where these personal pocket sized barcode scanners which add up the price of the items in your shopping cart can be purchased ?
Does anyone at Y/A own one ?
Can anyone recommend the brand names/model numbers of any good personal barcode pocket sized scanners which are capable of adding up the prices of the items that are scanned ?

I have the roadrunner wireless internet at home. My main pc is plugged right into the router, my 2nd pc is in my bedroom and is wireless, my 3rd is a laptop also set up on the wireless internet. How do I network them all together so I can share programs, files and printer/scanner between all computers?

I’m planning on selling my "All-In-One" printer. I’ve heard that regular copy machines (aka. xerox machines) have an internal memory that stores things you have copied, and I’ve heard people have been known to go through that memory to get personal information. I was wondering if "All-In-One" printers have this kind of internal memory as well. If so, does anyone know how to clear that memory? And how long does the printer usually store this information?

I have been looking around trying to find out how to get a comment box or shoutbox type thing on my website so people could chat, but I haven’t had any luck. I tried http://www.freeshoutbox.net/ but it had ads at the bottom of the shoutbox that my virus scanner would find malware in, so I had to shut down that idea. And ideas would be very helpful.

We have a ton of photos that my grandparents took of the family using a view-master camera. We have them on the circular disks so we can view them through the individual viewers but want to put them into either print form or digital form. I have read that there is special software and a special scanner that I can use but I don’t know where to find the scanner. If anyone has any experience with this, I would love to hear how you did it. Was it easy to do? I found a site that will scan them for like a reel but we have like 500 reels so that is not affordable. Also once they are in digital format will I still be able to see them in 3-D? Thanks for the help!

I have used an "online" scanner that I like very much and have created specific filters I like, but they could shut down the site at any time so I would like to get some actual scanning software.
