How can I get a comment/shoutbox on my personal website?

I have been looking around trying to find out how to get a comment box or shoutbox type thing on my website so people could chat, but I haven’t had any luck. I tried http://www.freeshoutbox.net/ but it had ads at the bottom of the shoutbox that my virus scanner would find malware in, so I had to shut down that idea. And ideas would be very helpful.

most shout boxes are not that great. anyone know where i might find a shoutbox maker?
