A multi function laser printer is an ideal printer for any size office it small home based or a large corporation. Save money and space with an all in one printer copy printing, scanning, and faxing. How to Save Money With A3 Laser Printers

Posted by Filed Under Personal Laser Printer with No Comments

Due to the recession and economic crises all around the world, a lot of people are continuously finding means to save up a few dollars. People minimize the use of electricity, water and other resources. Even the mere use of printers can save money. How? Well, this article hopes to educate individuals who already have their own A3 laser printer on how they can minimize expenses.

Keep Them Clean

A lot of people may not be aware of this but machines that are dirty or dusty, needs more power to continue its work. It’s similar to a car going on a plane as compared to a car going uphill. While both of them can cover the same distance, both require different amounts of power in order to do so. The pull of the gravity adds resistance therefore increasing the power required. This is the same when the insides of your printers are dusty and not well lubricated. Laser printers are known for their large sizes. A3 laser printers are even larger which means they require more energy to operate.

Using Toner Save Options

Modern types of laser printers are now capable of saving toner. If you’re using an A3 laser printer, it most likely has this feature because A3 printers have been developed only recently. This allows you to minimize the amount of toner used so you can maximize the toner. However, you don’t need to do this all the time especially if quality of prints is very crucial. You can use this saving setting in cases where your prints don’t need to be of professional quality. Like for example, if you’re just printing drafts or notes. The only difference in output is that when you are not in the toner save setting, the texts appear lighter than usual.

Keep The Garbage

This doesn’t mean keeping all the garbage of the house. This only means that you don’t need to throw every mistake you make when printing. Most prints usually come one sided. Meaning, there are no prints at the back. Since you’re using an A3 laser printer, it means the prints don’t go out blotted on the other side like what happens occasionally with inkjet printers. Inkjet printers use wet ink which is why it is possible for the ink to pass through the paper especially if you’re using low cost paper.

Buy The Required Supplies

Sometimes it is very tempting to resort to low cost materials in order to save money. However, when it comes to supplies for such printers, low cost usually means low quality. If you usually use low quality products on high end machines, there is a possibility that it can affect the functionality of your printer. Take for example, if you’re using a low budget toner, you might be able to save on the amount you buy for the toner. However, the printing quality may not be the same as when you are using the recommended toner.

The tips mentioned above are only a few of the ways you can save money when using A3 laser printers. Feel free to explore ways which can help you save money.

Can anyone recommend a good laser printer to print menus?

Posted by Filed Under Personal Laser Printer with 1 Comment

My bf and I own a couple of restaurants. We actually design the menus for the restaurant ourselves. We have been getting them printed at the local print shop for many months now. We are looking for a cheaper alternative because they cost a lot of money since they are in color. We decided we want to get a good laser printer and print the menus ourselves. Does anyone know of a good one that lasts and that has cheap toner?

Thanks for your answers.

I’ ve been hearing that buying a laser printer saves you more money than an inkjet ever will. But it seems prohibitive because of the high cost cost of the printer and toner. Then, there are health risks involved.

Is it really more economical (or healthy) to buy a laser printer?
